You
may send your comments to nathanette.burdine@thenylemagazine.com
or post your comments to the nbnylemagazine twitter page.
Please
make sure your comments are thoughtful and intelligent. There is an understanding that people are very passionate
about their beliefs, and I encourage individuals to express their passion in a
respectful manner. And in order to enable
thoughtful conversation, I have provided simple guidelines for you to follow when commenting
on a story. Do not use insensitive language such as racially charged words
or sexually explicit comments to describe individuals. For instance, do not use racially charged words associated
with blacks, whites, Hispanics, Middle Eastern, Asian, or someone of a different
religious faith in order to make a point. Also, do not use sexually
explicit language to describe men or women. Hence, do not call someone a
punk a*******, a b******, or talk about the parts making a man a man or a woman
a woman. Finally, do not threaten
other individuals. For example, do not tell someone that you will beat his
a*******, cut or shoot him, or put him in a permanent sleep. The
comments that do not follow these guidelines will be blocked/removed. Your emailed comments will remain private and
will not be shared with anyone. However,
the comments you post via twitter will be public. The comments made via
twitter and any guest articles are the views of its author/authors and do not
represent the views of The Nyle Magazine or its owner, Nathan’ette
Burdine.
